Ok guys I have the software and made an interface cable but to my dissapointment I have found that the 6000 is only programable in the range of 465 - 485 MHz and the frequencies I wanted to get were only in the 462 range and lower, about 430 would be good as well for one freq in particular

Is it possible somehow to get other frequencies apart from the above range beit by alternate software or hardware changes such as changing a resistor in the motherboard ?

I would like to hear a few opinions that would be great ,thanks in advance and I can share things I have learnt along the way with this GME stuff its not straight forward but I have learnt a lot of basics regarding interface cables, operating systems and what does and doesn't work

Hi, this is about all you will get in freq range from this model radio. It was designed and built only for TX and RX'ing on the UHF CB band only, so no board banding design was done. You will need to go to a 6200 at least to get a little more freq range, and even then, they won't work much below 445 mhz.
