Hello all,
I have bought a Tait T2010-211-800 radio,can anyone tell me what these nos mean please.

hi the 2010 means it is a 4 channel conventional radio and the 2 at the start of the next three means that it's frequency range is from 66 mhz to 88 mhz.
hope this helps . what did you want to use the radio for ? eg uhf or just listening to other services.

T2010-211-800

T2010 is the model code, as mentioned, a 4 channel conventional radio.

211... First figure, 2 is the RF Band 66-88MHz

Second figure, 1 Denotes it is a wideband radio

Third figure, 1 Denotes Oscillator Crystal Stability Frequency Tolerance+/- 5ppm

The last three figures (800) refer to the options configuration of the radio at the factory. These can include various boards (selcall, dtmf, modem etc plus external options, dtmf mic etc) There is a huge combination of these items, but generally don't affect the basic operations of the radio.
