The TOT or time out timer imposes a limit on your IC-F2010 modulation period. It is initially enabled in the clone software. You can also enable or cancel this time out function within the dealer set mode of transceiver.Enter your dealer mode.

Press the [P3] key so that channel digit blinks. Now push channel up or down keys to select a channel frequency. Push [P3] again and the chosen channel number stops blinking and remains steady.Begin at the channel digit and scroll down with the radio panel down arrow key.Navigate the menu until you see an indication of 'TOT OFF' on your radio screen.

'TOT OFF' means that the time out timer has been cancelled.Should you prefer to enable this time out function just press the [P2] key.Push this [P2] and 'TOT OFF' will be omitted. It will now be replaced with the text status of 'TOT ON'.Obviously this 'TOT ON' represents that the timer feature is on or has been activated.

According to preference just simply push [P2] to enable or cancel it.Please take note:If this is your first experience with an IC-F2010 ,setting up the dealer mode adjustable functions will become as second nature. With enough practice it becomes very intuitive and you can not go wrong. My perception of it is "A total breeze" and "Like taking a walk in the park".

Basically all of the procedures require manipulation of your programmable assign keys in conjunction with the channel up and down keys.
