Recently performed a frequency test by direct editing via dealer set mode. The F2010 appears to be accepting a frequency coverage of 431Mhz. to 511.460Mhz.I regard this as quite acceptable.
My F4023T handset has the edge on coverage which is a pleasant surprise. The 4023T does 427.4000 Mhz. so it has a reasonable edge for the lower region. What i find totally blows my socks off is that this handset has an upper limit of 534.8000Mhz.Obviously the handheld is well in front of my F2010 in the upper frequency limit.
When the IC-F2010 does not accept a frequency the radio display text will blink and transmit symbol is absent.
