After the receive ctcss tone adjust section the next item will be the transmit frequency direct edit region.Scroll with channel down button. You will see a transmit symbol icon angled to the right. It will be located at top left corner of display.Alongside it will be a row of eight numbers.I will use my channel 19 as an example.

476.87500 is indicated.Upon pushing [P2] key this frequency is omitted. Now 'TX INH' appears. This means i inhibited the transmit.Press [P2] and my original transmit frequency of 476.87500 is displayed. To begin direct edit i push the [P3] key.The digit of '4' blinks. While it blinks this digit can be changed by using channel up or down keys. Also i can edit it directly by pushing a digit on the numbered keypad.

Push on a keypad number and now the '7' blinks. If i experiment with different numbers the increment will change at the two zeros.I will leave the frequency as original.Keep pressing [P3] until '5' blinks.Push [P3] again and the five remains steady. Can imagine that most people are familiar with direct edit on keypads.I will not submit fine details as it will be very intuitive and logical.

Scroll with channel down button to the receive edit section. The receive symbol will be angled in the opposite direction. It is also in the left corner of radio screen.I can use the previous edit procedure for this receive section.Upon pushing [P2] key 'CH OFF' appears. Press [P2] again and my receive frequency has been cleared. There is now an indication of eight zeros as in 00000000.

Because it has been cleared the first zero blinks.Obviously the original receive of 476.87500 will have to be re-edited from my number keypad. The wide or narrow band is allocated to the receive frequency only in my dealer set mode.I push the [P1] key to select wide or narrow band. This will be shown on display as WIDE or NARROW.

This posting is the conclusion of the IC-F4023T adjustable dealer set mode items. There are no other extra functions in the handset dealer mode.I have described all the configurations available in the (preliminary) message and in this posting.
