The scan banks can be re-configured in the dealer set mode.Enter the dealer region and press [P1] or [PO] to scroll dealer menu until 'LIST 10' appears.This "LIST 10" is where you begin setting up scan banks.Press the [P3] key and digit of ' 10 ' blinks.Please take note that the text of ' LIST ' remains steady.While the ten blinks push the channel up or down key to select a scan bank number.
Your IC-F2010 has ten scan banks that are adjustable in the dealer area.These will appear on radio display as LIST 1 LIST 2 and so forth.Obviously the blinking digit is your operational parameter.Whatever bank number is selected the 'LIST' text wil stay intact.I can ascertain that some people are new to the IC-F2010 dealer mode adjustments.There are so many parameters to configure that to someone new it is possibly a daunting task.
Lets have a pretend scenario.You are on "LIST 10" and want to check the contents of "LIST 01".Push [P3] key so that '10' blinks.While the ten blinks scroll with the channel up or down button to select digit of ' 01 '.Now press [P3] and the ' 01 ' remains steady. Display is shown as LIST 01.This indicates that it corresponds with scan bank one.
If you press the channel up key this will be the sequence:LIST 01> SCAN 1> 08 ON.Upon pushing channel down key this will appear :LIST 01> 08 ON> SCAN 1.Please disregard the arrows as they will not appear in the dealer mode.It is just my way of trying to explain a sequence.Please ignore the appearance of 'SCAN 1' as it is not an operational status.

I have scrolled with the channel down key and there is an indication that the repeaters are enabled for scanning.In dealer mode they appear as: '01 ON' '02 ON' '03 ON' '04 ON' '05 ON' '06 ON' '07 ON' '08 ON' .Sorry about the commas,please disregard as commas are not visible in dealer area.
To assign a channel or disable it from a scan bank it must be done while the digit blinks.Will submit an example.Duplex 3 seems quiet so i will inhibit it from being scanned.I scroll to '03 ON ' with the channel button.Press [P3] key and digit of ' 03' blinks. While the 3 flashes i push the [P2] key.Now it will appear as ' 03 OFF'.To stop digit blinking i press on [P3] key.
To disable it from being scanned the indication has to be ' 03 OFF'.Also it is important that the digit remains steady by pushing on [P3].Power off radio.I power on again.Have selected my repeater bank which is 'SCAN 1'.While scanning the bank my Duplex 3 is not included.This is because it was disabled in 'LIST 1'. within dealer set mode.
