As was mentioned in a previous topic i set up 'LIST O1' as a scan bank for duplex channels 1 through to 8. I have edited channel 160 from 'LIST 10' or scan bank ten as 439.9000mhz.There is periodic activity on this 70cm section of the spectrum.The repeaters seem a bit quiet so i will assign ch160 from scan bank ten to scan bank one as in 'LIST O1'.Basically the channel from a scan bank is being re-assigned to a separate scan group.
I scroll with channel up or down key in 'LIST 10' while channel digit blinks for an indication of '160 OFF'.Now i go back to 'LIST O1'.To re-allocate channel 160 from 'LIST 10' to 'LIST O1' i press the [P2] key while '160' blinks.Activating this [P2] key while a channel digit blinks will assign it to a scan bank.
There is an appearance of '160 ON'.To stop '160' blinking and confirm it as a scan status push [P3] key.Power of transceiver.Power on F2010 and i select 'SCAN 1'.My duplex channels are scanned and also ch160 is included and being scanned.All of the scan banks are flexible.You can re-assign channels from any scan group to a separate scan bank in dealer region.
They can be swapped around and re-allocated all over the place.There will be no restrictions.Obviously the initial indication will be apparent in your clone software.
