The squelch and AF level can be adjusted from the initial set mode of radio.Push [PO] to scroll set mode items so that '2' appears at top left corner of display.Set mode number ' 2 ' is where squelch and the minimum listening levels are set up.To configure 'SQUELCH' stay in set mode ' 2' and rotate volume control while pushing [P2] key.
Your minimum AF level is also adjustable in this section.Have the digit of '2' indicated on top left corner of radio screen.To adjust the AF level you will now be pushing the [P3] key.For minimum AF level rotate the volume control while pushing [P3].
