The IC-F410 can not be set up as a remote head.If anyone has been resourceful and actually managed to remote this model feel quite free to correct me.As regards "Dealer Set Mode" parameters this model will only have the bare basics.Receive & Transmit frequencies can be edited.CTCSS & DTCSS tones can be enabled. The dealer mode for a F410 will not have full on functionality such as the IC-F2010.It has 32 channels as a limit. There is no signal meter.
Keep in mind that frequency coverage for this radio has been restricted.Anyway you will not be dissapointed. For what it lacks in features is compensated for by its performance potential. It has a large heatsink but overall depth of radio is quite compact and sleek in comparison to a F2010. Receiving sensitivity is acceptable. Transmit modulation can not be faulted as it has that typical ICOM distinct ambience to it.
