The beeps can be enabled or cancelled within the initial set mode.They can also be linked or unlinked.Push [PO] key to cycle set mode items for mode number 3. Have the digit of '3' indicated on top left corner of display.Link/unlink beep tones with the volume control.Press [P1] to select 'link' or 'unlink'.You will hear sound effects that signify "2 beeps:link " " 1 beep: unlink".
Beep ON/OFF: Push [P2] key to turn beeps ON and OFF. 2 beeps:ON 1 beep:OFF. This will be effective after exiting Initial Set Mode.
You can adjust the volume of the beep level.On page 5-2 of field service manual it is listed as 'Maximum beep level.' Rotate the volume control while pushing [P3].
