Motorola GM950 PLUS

Hi all
It seems a bit lonely here on UHFWorld
since it got wipe

Here is my delema
I have Two Motorola GM950 PLUS uhf radios that I wish to program
I have a programming lead for the Gm950 and the software
The software will not recognise the gm950 so I cant program them
I thought the lead was dodgey so I tried programing a gp300 with it
and I had no problems
Does anyone have any ideas whats going on here
the pc is a 200mhz pentium and it worked on the older sofware with the gp300

I was in the bat site earlier and I noticed they have the gm950 and gp300 as using different cables, could this be your problem?

The cable Im using is supposed to be a universal Its
From EBAY seller Kawamall in the USA the cable does say gp300 and gm950 and its also a ribless cable.

I have programed both the gm950 and gp300 and I use the same cable but different software. I also have had a gm950 that would not work with the same software. I can send you a copy of the gm 950 software I have and you could try that as it worked with the last uhf one I programed. cheers Brian

u need the gm950 PLUS RSS to program a GM950 PLUS, the GM950 and the GM950 PLUS are diffrent software

Has any one had any joy programming the UHF CB channels into a 950 plus
If so how is the RSS altered
