Hello,
Was wondering if anyone has ever come across a wiring diagram of how the 6.5mm Stereo plug is attached to a Normal Tait Microphone lead ?
I assume that the PTT switch in the Microphone is connected to one of the "Hot" terminals and the ring is connected to ground pulling the line low in the Transmitter bypassing the Line input and feeding Mic signal in its place.
I guess that the Mic internals are the same as a standard Tait 600 ohm fist mike and the only difference is the Stereo plug on the end of the cable in place of the 6p6c plug.
Any info would be much appreciated on the above connections.
