Has anyone tried some of the new tait portables i am looking to by a couple and would like to know if they are as good as the old orcas

Which new one's are you talking about? The Tait Orca 5000's or the new APCO P25 portables?

no i mean the tait orcas 5000's. The p25's are about $4000.00 each

Hi Richard,

The hardware inside the case is exactly the same as the old Tait Orca 'E' Series portables. The firmware is vastly different, but uses the same PGM software. In fact, if you get the latest Tait Orca PGM, it can program both old and new Tait Orca's.
