I would like to emphasise the use of channels on UHF CB Radio, especially Simplex Channels.
So often, I hear operators speaking on a Repeater, however they are using the Offset 30 channel to do their talking and they ARE NOT AWARE OF IT.
It must be emphasised that CHANNELS 31 - 38 SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR SIMPLEX OERATION.
In the country this happens especially during SEEDING and HARVEST time where farmers, truckies and other associated persons are to blame and at times it is difficult to contact them on the SIMPLEX CHANNEL due to their location to make them aware what is happening and request them to use a SIMPLEX ONLY CHANNEL.
It would be appreciated if anyone comes across this occuring, could they please take the appropriate action to cease the INCORRECT USE OF SIMPLEX CHANNELS.
