Hi,

Would anyone happen to know the Answers to the Following T700 Questions ?

1. The correct Speaker impedance ?

2. Whether the T2000 Programming Lead and RS232 Interface is compatible with a T700 ?

3. The Model description that would relate to the following Model Number
T724 - 11 N / B ?

Any info would be appreciated on the above, the radio is loaded with V3.09 software but i am having issues getting it to respond to either of the the Two DOS versions of the programming Software.

The Programming Software seems to indicate the the radio is connected directly to the PC omitting the RS232 Interface but i would much prefer to have it running through the Max Chip Circuit if possible.

Any answers that would assist with the the above Queries or other relevant info would be appreciated.

Regards

Chris S.

Chris, the T700 speaker is 4ohm. The T2000 lead with RS232 driver will work. You must have the adaptor to plug into the 15 pin socket that connects to the control head. I.e remove the head and plug into the body of the radio. I believe there is a drawing of the 15p-RJ12 adaptor lead in the member area. If not I can send you one.
I'll have to dig deep to find the full specs on the model you describe. 3.09 firmware is about what I would expect in stable running T700's.

Cheers,

Phill.

Thanks for that Phil,

I assumed that the data from the Interface box was Fed to and From the RJ12 Mic Socket on the front panel, this is probably why the radio just sat there laughing at me while i tried the various combinations.

Appreciate you taking the time to reply with the info,
